Director, Marketing Enzyme Therapies - EUCAN
Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite) - Dublin

Summary:
The Director of Marketing ET - EUCAN is responsible for driving the marketing strategy of the business unit in the countries that make up the new International organization, working closely with the Country Directors and Marketing representatives in each country as well as the local Pricing, Access, Value and Evidence (PAVE) and Medical Affairs (MAF) teams, ensuring local, regional and global alignment, driving key campaigns, leading regional launches and tracking performance through KPIs to meet strategic objectives. This role will report directly to the Exec. Director, Marketing - Enzyme Therapies Business Unit and will be based in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze markets to identify near- and long-term commercial opportunities and, in collaboration with market-based teams, develop robust strategies and tactics to maximize commercial opportunities for our portfolio.
- Provide guidance to markets in areas such as marketing strategy, financial planning, product demand planning, pricing, and business development, management of competition, marketing mix and promotion resource allocation
- Collaborate with PAVE, Medical Affairs, Corporate Communications and Commercial – to align value demonstration and to shape the access environment and advance innovation in enabling affordability
- Ensure alignment with global strategy, as well as utilization of relevant brand and customer tactics in the sub regions
- Provide input to the global commercial BU team to shape the global marketing strategy and other central deliverables
- Identify current needs and support capability building for the product franchises in the markets
- Collaborate with multifunctional team, local, regional and global to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products
- Lead Brand planning process in partnership with multifunctional team Medical Affairs and PAVE
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
- Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations
- Work in close collaboration with market heads, training department business insights and commercial excellence.
- Act as a strategy guardian, making sure global strategy and tactical plan is properly adjusted and deploy to international markets
- Track implementation and success · Lead within the marketing team governance and success of Brand Teams
Scope:
- European countries and Canada
Education:
- BS/BA degree in Business or Life Sciences
- Fluent English
Experieince:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Marketing and at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience of specialty care products in highly competitive markets.
- Experience in rare diseases market would be a plus
- Proven track record of marketing across multiple stages of a products life cycle
- Successful Global launch experience in specialty and/or rare disease, preferably in the specific therapeutic area.
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen
- Deep strategic marketing expertise (launch, branding, analytical skills, targeting, segmentation, life cycle management in particular)
- Demonstrated agility, accountability, sense of urgency and team spirit
- Capability to embark and enroll cross functional stakeholders at all levels of the organizations
- Ability to build strong relationships across cultures, backgrounds and functions
- Can manage complex situations and demonstrated ability to make decisions
- Strong planning and project management skills – can and has successfully driven projects involving several departments and functions
- Ability to convey complex information succinctly & simply (including verbal, written and in presentations)

- Complies with Company guidelines and country/industry standards on ethics and compliance and acts as a role model for ethical behavior
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work arrangement possible, expected to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
